剧情介绍
洛杉矶，日本诸商社正与美国方面谈判，以求引进最新的电子技术，日方为获得成功，监控系统和读唇术无所不用……当夜，在这座日本商社大楼中发生了一起命案，一名白种女子死在会议室中。警探韦伯（韦斯利?斯奈普斯 Wesley Snipes 饰）受命调查此案，上峰派处于停职状态的约翰?康诺（肖恩?康纳利 Sean Connery 饰）协助韦伯，只因康诺曾经多年在日本工作，了解和日本人打交道的方式。韦伯和康诺调查了死者的家和日本方面送来的事发现场录像，初步锁定嫌疑人是死者的日籍情人艾迪（凯里-川田博之 饰），艾迪的父亲曾对康诺有救命之恩，在警探汤姆（哈威?凯特尔 Harvey Keitel 饰）和韦伯着力追踪艾迪并导致其车祸时，康诺通过还原现场录像发现了此案的幕后隐情……
