新婚的第一夜，林嘉华(方力申饰)和邝美宝(邓丽欣饰)像一般由初恋便结婚的小夫妻一样，对婚姻总有一刻犹豫和回想。幸好，两人最后同样相信自己找到的，便是一生中独一无二的伴侣。但好景不常，开宠物店的嘉华在办宠物丧礼时重遇中学补习老师Josephine(吴佩慈饰)，她再次吸引着嘉华。 美宝因偷看嘉华手机短信，导致关系恶劣，之后嘉华因为不开心而喝至大醉，更前往另一个Josephine家中，当嘉华将夫妻争吵的经过具体给Josephine听时，并对Josephine表示根本不会发生这些事，起码她不会喜欢自己时，没想到Josephine却表示会，二人因醉酒而做了错事。 美宝在突击检查中找不到嘉华，后来更发现嘉华一直都与Josephine秘密约会。美宝忍受不了嘉华的不忠，愤而提出离婚
